| hahahz.. im bored so adding onto debbie's xanga, i am going to explain the reasons why the color black is superior to all other colors. Not that i have something against other colors, i just believe black is superior.
1. !7 !5 1337 ~
Black can look decent, or very good looking on pretty much anything. Unlike some colors, it can look good on both girls and guys. Need an example? Take a look at proms, what is the color most commonly used? Black of course, why? because it is the basis of all colors, colors form around it, black doesn't form around other colors. In Matrix, look at the main characters attire, it is a BLACK trenchcoat, is it not? Why is it not another color? Because any other color.. it would look silly, Neo would not have his 1337ness.
2. Black matches nearly all the colors.
Nearly all colors are based on black. "Oh im wearing black jeans, what shirt should i wear?" the answer is quite simple, any shirt probably matches it. A baby blue shirt matches it, red shirt matches it, green matches it. White matches it. There is not a single color that clashes with black. This proves the color black's superiority. See if someone was wearing pink, would that person match it with green? that would result in a terrible clash. But black can match with either of those colors.
3. Black represents how mature one is.
Leveling up in age, the colors that one selects start to differ. The colors turn less childish and more serious. Where is black mostly seen? At serious activities, such as funerals, and proms. Black represents that one is mature, or suppose to represent that. Nearly all the formal wear is black. What does this mean? that Black is more of an adult color. Other colors are might be more childish, such as yellow, i remember in 8th grade and below yellow was really popular... but now that in a higher grade, no one really wears yellow. Why? yellow represents that one has not reached the peak of being mature. You rarely see an adult running around in yellow, they are usually in a darker attire.
4. Stereotypes on the color black are wrong.
The color black is suppose to represent death. Not really, that is because of our Euro-ish based culture in America. In China and/or Taiwan, the color white is more associated with death. When someone died, white is worn. Some people might say that black represents evil. That is not necessarily true either. During the Red Scare, many people viewed the color red as evil, because it represented communism. Many stereotypes against black can be proven wrong.
5. Black is practical.
How can black not be practical? it hides one in the night, making them nearly invisible to naked eye. Black shows how clean one is by showing how pure the black is. Since if any dirt or dust that falls on black will show up, if the black you wear is nearly all clean, then it shows that you are very clean, and tells alot about your lifestyle, and the way you live.
